It is most definitely best to book the entertainer first as it is much easier to secure a hall than a very popular entertainer like myself and you may have to be flexible with your party date. Just remember that it's your entertainer that will predominantly decide the overall success of the party, not the venue 🙂

That depends really. You could get lucky and find a weekend slot just a few days before, especially if you are flexible on the time but as a rule of thumb, you should be looking at a couple of months in advance.

In the week I can do anytime but at the weekend I normally have 4 party time slots available.

Between

11 am and 1 pm

12 pm and 2 pm

3p m and 5 pm

4 pm and 6 pm

These slots are based on meal times.

I’m normally unable to do parties between 2 pm and 3 pm as this leaves me no time to fit in other parties that day and it also frees up the morning or afternoon for party guests and their parents to do something else instead reining their day with a party smack bang in the middle of the day. However, when I have secured my first booking I can sometimes be more flexible on the times.

Its always worth getting in touch even if the times don't suit you as I do try my best to fit the times best for you if I can.

Had Mr Shiney for my daughters 5th birthday party yesterday. Was unsure of how he would keep 20 4 and 5 year olds amused but I needn't have worried. He was great. They sat really well and were transfixed by the array of tricks and magic along with the puppets that he used. Absolutely fantastic entertainment!
